Anne Marie sent out a "Keeping in touch" email a few days back and it's been great hearing about what our former classmates have been up to. I can't believe it's 2007 now and so much has happened since we struggled together to keep up with all our projects. Keep the news coming!

Thanks for setting this up Marissa. Wow 7 years!! I still think we were one of the best GC classes.
Does anyone know how Wes is doing?
Hi Marissa,
Thanks for setting this up...
Thanks Marissa for setting this up.
Michael - haven't heard from Wes at all, not even sure that the email address we have for him is correct.
Also, does anyone know Rod's email address? Realized we have been talking about him and he's not listed on the distribution list.
My thanks to Marissa as well for setting this up. I'm glad we can stay in touch. I have to say that the unity we had was not something that I saw in the classes after ours that I was involved with. Michael did you find the same in your experiences?
Brad,
I think the GC went through some transition and confusion concerning the focus of the degree programs after the dot.bomb era.
There were personnel changes and program changes. My experience as a Capstone Advisor were similar to yours. I had one or two good students and one or two that I had to babysit through the process. In many cases, I didn't think that the quality of the work was on a "professional" level.
Michael
Michael, I agree with you. But I also found that while certain folks did hang out together there was not the Friday night dinners and cohesive activities that our class really had. That part surprised me.
I wasn't able to post to the blog?
Here's some interesting info --
Does this look (sound) familiar????
The Ambient Orb may look like a crystal ball on acid, but it's really more of a giant mood ring--plugged straight into the fluctuations of the stock market or anything else you care to track. The orb can be wirelessly configured to track any individual stock, any market index or your personal portfolio. "People want information, but they don't want to invest a lot of time in getting it," says Ambient president David Rose. "This makes getting information a 'glanceable' thing."

Wasn't this an idea that came out of our class with David????
Best to all,
Michael
